Lanarkshire Mental Health & Well-being Needs Assessment Programme

The Lanarkshire Mental Health Needs Assessment Programme (LMHNAP) was established in 2004 and is based within the Department of Public Health at NHS Lanarkshire and managed by Kevin O'Neill. The programme exist to support the planning and development of services through the  provision of information - we call this 'INFORM-ACTION'. Key to the success of the programme has been working closely with senior clinicians who bring their experience and network of contacts to the programme on secondment for periods of time to undertake specific work as Associate Mental Health Needs Assessment Programme Officers. Resulting from Health Needs Assessment projects are shared in various ways including through the Annual Report of the Director of Public Health in Lanarkshire. Within this section of the site the following are published:

  •   the current  mental health needs assessment projects which are on-going.
